Round 5 – 1st Grade Coffs Colts vs Diggers

Finally the scheduled one dayer against grand finalists Diggers proved to be a vital game as other games were called off. The premiers were victorious by 3 wkts with 4 overs to spare. Both sides were not a full strength and the boys showed a lot of fight to win a game that was in the balance for so long.

Funnly enough, Diggers are the premiers next game and we expect a tough game from a side desperate to make the semis in the longer form of the game.

Hard work will be needed after Christmas to secure our spot and with the competition so even the boys need to be focused week in week out which the side is more than capable of doing.
