Colts great makes representive century of wickets

Coffs colts president Matt Francis recently achieved a rare feat of capturing his 100th Coffs Harbour representative wicket in the recent country cup fixture in Tuncurry. The colts great secured his century of wickets in style dismissing Tuncurry batting order; at one stage sitting on 2-1 of 4 overs to dismantle Manning’s attack. The 100th wicket was especially memorable when the bail was snappedin two, with a slippery delivery in his opening spell. The representative opening bowler explained that he has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to represent his home city. He also mentioned that it takes a lot of commitment to backup and travel for Sunday cricket. After receiving a savage blow to the mid drift Francis staggered to combine a 17 run; 8th wicket stand to secure victory for the Harbour side.
